U.S. State privacy laws


State To State Freight Brokers does not sell personal information. However, U.S. State Privacy Laws require that State To State Freight Brokers provide transparency about the personal information we “sell,” which may broadly include scenarios in which State To State Freight Brokers has shared personal information with third parties in exchange for valuable consideration in addition to scenarios.


These U.S. State Privacy Laws include:

  • 1. The California Consumer Protection Act (expires 12/31/2022)
  • 2. The California Privacy Rights Act (effective 1/1/2023)
  • 3. Connecticut’s An Act Concerning Personal Data Privacy and Online Monitoring (effective 7/1/2023)
  • 4. The Colorado Privacy Act (effective 7/1/2023)
  • 5. Utah Consumer Privacy Act (effective 12/31/2023)
  • 6. The Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (effective 1/1/2023)
